Avo cafe in Santa Monica is great. The namesake avo toast was one of the best I have ever had. The only thing that loses a star for it is the coffee the coffee was from gavina which just isn't good at all. Bottom line great food. French fries were bomb and my wife's breakfast burritos was great they just need to work on the drinks. The smoothie my wife got was ok but it was $17. But that's Santa Monica for you.

Delicious health food and great owners. A hidden gem in this new world order. I wish I could try everything on the menu. The Gone to India is great! The dessert are to die for. Great alkaline water (close the tap fully). A really cool back patio to enjoy the sun or shaded areas. This place hosts great events of you want to meet like minded freedom loving truly health loving people. Also, this place has the very cool and unique non-products from many sources. Omg! What a gem I had the caesar salad , sweet potato mash and the breakfast burrito All tasted fresh and delicious Also tried the mushroom soup . So good The back patio is an intimate zen garden . OM! Please try this place . They have live music too .. ill go back and try the rest

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Craving a yummy, organic, heathy meal? Look no further. The acai bowl was tremendous. They make EVERYTHING in house and avoid nuts (for the most part) so, as a gluten/nut allergy person, i had a heyday! We actually finished our meal, took a walk on the beach, and came back for more treats from here.

Cute family owned vegan cafe! They serve breakfast all-day and lunch as well. The food was exceptional, service was fast, and they had a beautiful outdoor terrace to enjoy the meal! A highly recommended spot! P.s. - Ask for Holden, he is the man! 5 stars.

Nice place in Santa Monica. Came here for breakfast and coffee. Food was tasty and warm. Service was friendly. Vegan food can be yummy if you eat at places like this. Tried the avo toast and tea. Will return when I am back to Santa Monica. Prices are on the higher side, but blame Santa Monica rents for it.

AVO Cafe is a super cute gem in Santa Monica with a beautiful back patio. Drinks were absolutely delicious. We got the Cafe Mocha and AVO Elixir. I'm usually not a coffee fan, but the AVO Elixir is something I'd get again and again. Do yourself and this wonderful business a favor by treating yo self to an AVO Elixir. Food is also fantastic. We got the Farmers Market Mista Salad and the Mock Chicken Pesto Panini. The salad was great (we LOVED the salad dressing), but it was rather pricey ($16) for something I could easily make at home. The panini on the other hand was definitely more worth it. It came out nice and warm on a baguette, and since we had mentioned we were sharing, the lovely people at AVO Cafe kindly split up our baguette and brought them out on two plates for us. Honestly -- the service and overall atmosphere was spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at AVO Cafe and will definitely be back! TL;DR: get the AVO Elixir, but not a salad here if you're trying to be economical

Great Food....came for breakfast two days in a row. Great service from the staff....owners introduced themselves as we were eating....fellow Canadians. Will be back for breakfast tomorrow too! Had the Buckwheat Bagel Avo toast! Very helpful on where to visit and what to see.
